What can I say about this pint of bitter?
It's certainly got a kick, I can assure you! Served in a plain pint glass, with its pale golden colour, the first thing to hit me was the hint of a fruity tang. When you take a deep sniff, all the aroma fills your nostrils and tempts you to take the first sip.
The first thing to note about this beer is its lack of carbonation, giving it a mellow rounded texture that cant exactly be replicated with Carlsberg! The second most prominent feature to note is its remarkably strong hoppy flavour. Quite unexpected considering its pale colour.
If I were to give my personal opinion, this beer would be perfectly suitable for a blustery winters evening beside a fire, while leaving a weaker beverage for the summer months. I rate this beer 5 out of 10. Didn't knock my socks off, yet was fairly satisfying.
