This is the second day of the beer blokes tour down south, and I am finally having a local beer. This one comes from St Austell's brewery based in Cornwall. Obviously if you are a Harry Potter fan, then you will remember Trelawny the Divination teacher as being quirky and unusual.
However this beer is not that weird. It's a golden brown colour with a slight head. The first thing to mention is it's dry almost biscuit flavour of the malt. Then the dryness reminiscence of apricot and raisin kicks in, giving it a smooth dry but biscuit flavour.
It would go well with a few peanuts and crisps! A pub favourite! I rate this beer a great 7 out of 10. It's good it's satisfying and it's homely.
