River Cottage EPA

If you live in the UK, then you are most likely aware of River Cottage. For those of you who are unaware, River Cottage is a "good-life" approach to food and drink. Dedicated to growing and producing ingredients, the brand has had a successful TV series, books, and shop.

My parents (luckily) visited the aforementioned River Cottage store in Devon where they bought me this bottle of EPA (English Pale Ale) and I subsequently sit here writing this blog, sipping on this beautiful beer.

As you can see, the colour of this beverage is a pale gold which suits its bittersweet flavour nicely. A slight carbonation gives the beer a "bite" on the back of the pallet and with its Cornish barley, provides a hint of tangy citrus and flowery taste.

Suitable for a refreshing summer beverage in a boat by the Cornish coast, this bottle of River Cottage is delicious. Detailing where each ingredient was sourced gives this drink a personal touch, providing the feeling of being a part of the brewing process and its journey from tree to glass.

It therefore comes as no surprise that I am giving this ale a rating of 9 out of 10. I just wish I had more bottles!
