This classic lager, brewed in Belgium and imported to the UK is sadly destined to be consumed by underage miscreants intent upon getting pissed in their local park. However, despite its formidable representation among Brits, this lager boasts a smooth and balanced flavour for its fairly moderate 4% alcohol content.
This beer has a satisfying bitter edge with a malty middle that finishes with a crisp taste that any punter would be pleased with on a sunny afternoon in their local pub garden. Of course I must end with fair rating of this beer without taking into account its reputation in the UK or its mass appeal to the multi-pack deals found in many nationwide supermarkets. Therefore based on taste alone, I give this lager a respectable 7 out of 10.
